Yaaaay! I'm not the only one who's pals with Herb 'round these parts no mo'! And as a reward for being awesome; checka checka dis ouuuut. I used to live in Japan and used to see their ads. No one ever understood why I was laughing.

And weighing in for BC on the gitch/gotch issue...I have heard ginch, not gitch. Out here it's usually gonch, but we spells it gaunch. I dunno 'bout the 'merkins though.

Thanks for the link...why did Sweet Camel seem to be in the font of Value Village, do you think? The spelling of 'gaunch' cracks me up by the way, for whatever reason.

I had never ever in my life heard of gitch, gotch, gonch or gaunch. I've heard of Grinch, and also, I know what a merkin is. It's not an American (though out of respect to you Canadians, I will be referred to as a United Statesian) but a pubic wig. Watch Carrie. In the very first scene you'll see a lot of merkins. I would imagine, however, that wearing a merkin would only exacerbate the problem of the camel toe.
